On two modified Phillips operators

In this note we introduce two new modied Phillips operators
G1n and G2n. We obtain direct estimates for approximation of bounded
continuous functions, dened on [0;1) by G1n, as well as for approx-
imation of unbounded continuous functions by G2n. We improve some
previous results on this topic.
