AN EXTENSION OF THE BANACH FIXED-POINT THEOREM AND SOME APPLICATIONS IN THE THEORY OF DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS

Abstract

  In this paper we present an extension of the Banach Fixed-Point Theorem and we apply this new result to find the attractors of some classes of discrete dynamical processes. By associating a convergent sequence of Iterated Function Systems (IFS) to a dynamical process, we derive some applications in the approximation of (IFS) attractors.
