Outline of the research and implementation phase

Some of these steps should be carried out in parallel with writing the research paper.

Step: Description
Select a Topic: Choose a research question or topic that interests you.
Conduct a Literature Review:

Research existing studies and papers to understand the context, identify gaps, and refine your research question.Use Google Scholar and CiteSeerX to find relevant studies.

This phase will provide you some authority in the field while offering fresh perspectives and unexpected solutions.
Formulate Research Questions or Hypotheses: Clearly define the problem you aim to solve or the hypothesis you intend to test. Use the elevator test—can you deliver your message in a brief elevator ride lasting 30 seconds to 2 minutes? This will help you assess how clear your idea is.
Design the Methodology:

Decide on your approach—qualitative or quantitative—along with the methods for data collection and analysis, as well as the technologies to be used.

Do the work: Implementation, data gathering, and conducting experiments, surveys, or studies.
Assess: Document your application, analyze the data, and formulate conclusions.
