Following the advice of the teacher from the Faculty of Arts (mentioned in the Still Life Study), I chose to draw from a wooden statue that my parents received as a gift from the very man who crafted it. The drawing is much larger than the actual statue, which still resides in my parents’ home. I was very pleased with how this piece turned out.
