    This buffer holds the ASCII character code followed by the scan code
    for each key typed from the keyboard.

       Notes:         These 32 bytes are actually 16 2-character entries.
                      Each entry holds the ASCII character code followed
                      by the scan code for the key typed. The keyboard
                      buffer is 16 characters long.
