The grade will be computed as a weighted mean as follows:
Final Grade = 60%Practical Project Grade + 40%Technical Paper Presentation
The titles of the practical projects will be announced on the course's web page. The practical projects will be publicly presented in the exam session period. The source code, additional resources as well as the project's documentation, in electronic format, will be also handed after the presentation. If the project team consists of more than one student, the mean of the participant's practical project grades must be exactly the evaluation grade of the project.
Each student (part of a team or not) also presents a short paper of minimum 7 pages (the required LaTeX style can be found
here) which deals with technical aspects of the implemented software solution and reflects his or her personal contribution. The papers will be evaluated individually.
In order to pass the course, the two components of the final grade must be at least 5.
