The Babeș-Bolyai University is organizing the Doctor Honoris Causa title awarding ceremony on Thursday, November 10th, 2022, from 11:00 a.m., to Mr. Acad. Prof. Lovász László, Ph.D., Emeritus Professor at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary.

The Doctor Honoris Causa awarding ceremony will be organized in the Aula Magna Hall of Babeş-Bolyai University (Str. M. Kogălniceanu, no. 1).

The title is awarded following the proposal made by the representatives of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science within the BBU for the special scientific competence in the fields of Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science and the building of links between them, transforming them into central areas of modern Mathematics.

Laudation will be presented by Prof. Kristály Sándor, PhD.
