Computer Science Teaching and Research at UPEC/LACL Paris-Est Créteil

Summary : Univ. Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) is a research-intensive university founded in 1970 and home to 38,000 students. UPEC combines academic excellence with a socially open policy of very low academic fees, student support, and international exchanges https://www.en.u-pec.fr/en/about-us/presentation .

The university is home to 7 faculties, 8 schools and institutes, 33 research centers including LACL’s Computer Science research laboratory. LACL is unique in France for its concentration of experts who investigate and apply logic-based Computer Science. In this presentation we outline the 3 Master’s degree programs in C.Sc hosted by LACL, as well as its research activities with a view on developing cooperations with UBB students and academics.
