We inform you about the launch of the special scholarships competition for scientific activity 2022-2023 at Babeș-Bolyai University.

Regulation on the granting of scholarships for students - undergraduate and master's study cycles - Approved by HS no. 48/11.04.2022; The regulation regarding the granting of special scholarships for scientific activity can be found in Annex 5;
The application form for granting the special scholarship for scientific activity, both the Romanian, and English versions, for foreign students, as well as the competition announcement in English.
Senate Decision No. 8320/22.06.2020 regarding the Regulation of operation and organization of the STAR-UBB Institute ; the Institute's organization includes the Academic Excellence Program and the Next Generation Excellence Program – appliable for students who won special scholarships for scientific activity too.
The criteria of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science for the evaluation of applications for special scholarships for scientific activity .

Competition calendar:

Submission of applications on the scholarship platform (https://inscrieri.ubbcluj.ro/burse/): October 3-20, 2022;
Presentation of submitted projects:
- Projects in the field of Mathematics: Monday, 24.10.2022, 11:00 a.m., Department of Differential Equations, Mathematica building, Ploiesti str., no. 23-25;
- Projects in the field of Computer Science: Wednesday, 26.10.2022, 9:30 a.m., room 230, 2nd floor, UBB central building, M. Kogalniceanu str., no. 1;
Display of results: 27.10.2022;
Submission of appeals: 28.10.2022 - 31.10.2022 by email to marcel.serban@ubbcluj.ro for the field of Mathematics and to the address mihai.craciun@ubbcluj.ro for the field of Computer Science;
Resolution of appeals: 01.11.2022;
Display of final results at faculty level: 02.11.2022;
Transmission to the CMCS of the record of conclusions related to the evaluation process of the faculties: November 4^th, 2022;
Administrative verification of applications and final selection by the Babes-Bolyai University Scientific Council: November 7-18, 2022;
Announcement of results: November 21, 2022;
Completion of the signing of financing contracts: November 25, 2022.
