KING CAROL I Grants Program

Registration for the KING CAROL I Grants program has commenced in accordance with HG 403/2017, as amended and supplemented by the Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digitization. The registration process is accessible at

  • One thousand euros per year, per grantee, for intellectual property rights protection and/or participation in international scientific events;
  • A maximum of 3,500 euros per year per team, consisting of a minimum of two students (one of whom is an Olympian) from one or more universities, shall be allocated for materials, subassemblies, and subcontracting related to the implementation of technological demonstrations or the promotion of ideas developed collectively. These teams shall compete in prestigious international competitions and receive recognition for their efforts.

    • Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements must electronically submit a completed application using the provided template to claudia.beldean@ubbcluj.ro by October 10, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. The diploma that was earned must be submitted with the application.
