How to reach Cluj-Napoca:
* by plane: There are direct flights connecting Cluj to Barcelona, Bari, Bergamo, Bologna, Brussels Charleroi, Dortmund, Eindhoven, London Luton, Madrid, Munich, Paris Beauvais, Rome, Treviso, Valencia, Vienna, Zaragoza. Please check the Cluj Airport Website and contact your travel agent.
* by train: Cluj-Napoca is about 7 hours from Bucuresti (Bucharest),and 6 hours from Budapest, Hungary. (For timetables we recommend the DB Website)
* by car: If you travel from Western Europe, take motorway M1 from Wien to Budapest, then European Route E60 for Budapest – Szolnok – Püspökladány – Ártánd / Bors (border crossing) – Oradea – Cluj (maps).

Currency exchange: The local currency is Romanian Lei (RON). Many exchange offices close to the city center offer good rates for Euro, US Dollar or Hungarian Forint. Check here for more information.
Visa: EU, US and Canada citizens do not need a visa to enter Romania. In other cases please contact the Romanian Embassy in your country, or check the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
