Introduction to the main IT concepts.
Introduction to the use of office editing and content creation software instruments. Introduction to the general concepts used in Internet and Intranet services. Introduction to the Internet communication and data security and protection technologies. Discussion on the importance of respecting the legal, moral and ethical aspects of the Internet and Intranet technologies. Introduction to HTML and development of simple web pages. Integration in web sites. Introduction to the LaTeX document preparation system. |

Assessment |
Practical exam at the end of the semester, theoretical concepts are also subject to verification. To pass the exam, the final exam grade must be at least 5. |
