Aims
1. To get acquainted with the general concepts regarding the data bases.
2. To get acquainted with the data models, especially the relational.
3. Database management in .Net.
Content
1. Databases concepts.
2. Architecture of databases management systems.
3. Relational data model. Normalization for relational data model.
4. Query languages. Relational algebra. Relational calculus.
5. Database management with SQL language.
6. Access control and security in a database.
7. Physical structure of databases. Organize of files. Sequential organization. Indexed-sequential organization. Storing the file as a binary tree. Storing the file in the form of a 2-3 tree. Storing the file as a B-tree. Organization directly. Retrieving the values of several attributes.
8. Optimizing query databases.
