Aims |
Assimilation of the main IT concepts.
Assimilation of the some office editing and content creation software instruments. Assimilation of the general concepts used in Internet and Internet services. Assimilation of the Internet communication and data security and protection technologies. Respect of the legal, moral and ethical aspects of the Internet and Intranet technologies. Building web pages and integrating them in web sites. |

Databases – Working with Microsoft Access 8. Communications and applications with the Internet Internet structure and coordinating agencies Internet addressing, Name Servers URL (Uniform Resource Locators) 9. Communications in INTERNET (Non Web). The File Transfer Protocol (FTP). The concept of anonymous FTP; 10. Assessment |
Practical exam at the end of the semester, theoretical concepts are also subject to verification. The mark is a weighted mean between:
- the exam mark; - the semester laboratory activity - homeworks must be solved correctly and in time. Laboratories are compulsory. In order to successfully pass the exam, lab grade, exam grade and final grade must be >=5. |
