Aims |
This course has been designed to provide a Masters program of studies for
those persons who wish to develop their project management skills and abilities in the context of computer science projects. "Project Management" course aims to develop the students' ability to: - integrate and apply their knowledge acquired from this course in the formulation and implementation of projects; and - evaluate, plan and manage projects with special emphasis on IT projects. On completion of this course, the students should be able to: 1. explain the role of project management within the overall organizational and strategic framework of the company; 2. identify project opportunities, evaluate project feasibility and initiate projects proposals; 3. plan, schedule, monitor and control project activities; and 4. plan and manage technological change. |
