Aims |
The semantics and pragmatics of natural language processing are central in human-computer interaction. Also, these aspects are important for text mining, text summarization, text generation and machine translation.

1. Intensional logic of Montague. Translation of expressions in natural language to intensional logic. Glyn Morrill and Lambek calculus. Categorial grammars.
2. Word disambiguation: algorithms for supervized, bootstrepping and non-supervized dizambiguation. Algorithms for client/server dizambiguation. 3. Reference (anaphora) rezolution. 4. Automatic interpretation of dialogue acts. 5. Applications to text categorization, text summarization and machine translation. |
