Aims |
To get acquainted with the problems related to image processing and with the way they are dealt with in different existing systems. |
Content |
The image processing course consists of:
- digital image representation (through picture functions and words, quad-trees and binary trees), - image improvement (point and spatial operations) - image transformations (contour determination, skeleton, thinning, morphological transformations). |

Assessment |
The final grade will rezult from the evaluation of the laboratory work and of a final exam. |
