The cut polytope and the image of the correlation map

Abstract
Inspired from the „monogamy of entaglement” inequalities Meyer(2010, to be published) proposed the study of the domains of pairwise correlations (concurrencies) for random variables (classical) and quantum bits. We describe the solution of the problem for 3 random Bernoulli variables (the classical case), hint on the quantum case and generalization for n ≥ 4 variables. In the course of the solution we uncover new Bonferroni type inequalities and connections with the cut polytope.
