Dr. Calin Martin (Universitatea din Viena) a castigat si implementeaza la UBB proiectul „Nonlinear Studies of Stratified Oceanic and Atmospheric Flows”.

„The above-named project addresses drawbacks in the current understanding of stratified rotational atmospheric and ocean flows from the perspective of the nonlinear governing equations and of the associated boundary conditions. Emphasis will be placed on the derivation (and the subsequent analysis) of exact solutions concerning the propagation of surface and internal waves in two- and three-dimensional stratified multi-layer flows with vorticity.
