About the Project

The main focus of the project is to implement, configure and deploy a modern Full Stack application, with a Java-based backend and a React-based frontend in the cloud using AWS as the cloud provider. This is a great opportunity to understand and experiment first-hand how everything comes together in an IT ecosystem from application development and testing to continuous integration and deployment in the cloud.

We are looking for up to 4 talented and fast learner students to join this cool project and kick start their career.

Deadline for applications: 7th of April 2022

Period: 8-12 week full-time internship (July - September 2022)

About You

You are passionate about cloud technologies as well as DevOps in general. Your educational background needs to be paired with discipline, critical thinking, problem ownership and drive to accomplish new and unconventional things. Good time management and a structured work style are also needed along with a nerdy passion to experiment with new gadgets.

Specifically, you will need competence / experience in the following areas:

• Docker (basic concepts)
• Linux
• Databases
• Build processes (CI/CD)

Nice-to-have knowledge / experience:

• AWS (basic services)
• Kubernetes
