    1. If one of the t true statements is checked, the candidate receives p/t points.
    2. If one of the f false statements is checked, the candidate receives (-0,66) *p/t points (i.e., he/she will be punished)
    3. The minimum number of points for a task is zero “0” (in the case that a participant has incorrectly checked all answers, the negative number is replaced by 0), and the maximum number is p.
    4. When all answers are checked, the participant receives a score of 0.

5. Regulations

  1. An applicant may apply for admission to more than one program at the Babeș-Bolyai University or other universities at the same time but may be enrolled in no more than two programs at the same time, regardless of the cycle and educational institutions offering them.
  2. An applicant may not submit more than one application for the same field of study of his/her first choice. An admitted applicant may receive study grants for one program/specialization area only.
  3. An enrolled applicant who is admitted to a state-subsidized study place can only enjoy a study grant for the normal duration of the study in the study area for which he/she was enrolling. In the case of students who were enrolled in state-subsidized places in previous years – in state universities and colleges – the number of previous years of study already completed is considered and shortened from the remaining years. The same rules apply to exmatriculated students, including those who have abandoned their studies, except for the first year after resuming their studies (this is carried out on a fee basis). The state funding of the normal study cycle presupposes a one-time study at a funded place of study. Any other situation, with the exception of social cases, requires studying at a tuition-paying place of study.
  4. University graduates, with or without a bachelor’s degree (final diploma) from a state university, may apply for admission to a new study program. In this case, applicants must indicate on their own responsibility on the application form how many years they have followed a tuition-free study place. The periods during which they have been a student are indicated in Appendix 2.
  5. For a bachelor’s degree in a foreign language, applicants must have a language certificate from the list of language certificates accepted by the Rectorate or a certificate of the language proficiency from the Baccalaureate, provided that 3 of the 5 qualifications are at least B2. If the candidate chooses more than one specialty in a foreign language, he/she must present a certificate of language proficiency for each area of study on the list of choices. Candidates who have completed at least 8 classes with teaching in German (this must be demonstrated by a certificate of completion of secondary school, a school certificate or equivalent document, etc.) do not have to present a German language certificate. For candidates who have German as their mother tongue (provable by the grade at the Baccalaureate), a language certificate or a diploma is no longer required.
  6. Applicants who take the written examination in German or English are no longer required to take a language certificate for the respective language.
  7. Applicants who do not take the written exam (because they meet a specific requirement) will need proof of language proficiency in the language(s) of study of the options expressed.
  8. Candidates with a Baccalaureate/High School or another equivalent certificate, as well as Romanian citizens, citizens of the EU countries, the EEA countries, and the Swiss Confederation, obtained in the aforementioned countries and recognized by the higher education institution, can apply for the bachelor’s level admission examination. When applying, candidates who are not in the above-mentioned categories must present a certificate of recognition of academic achievements issued by the specialized department of the Ministry (C.N.R.E.D.). Citizens of the member states of the European Union, the states belonging to the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation, as well as British citizens and members of their families (spouses and dependent children) as beneficiaries of the Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from the North from the European Union and from the European Atomic Energy Community 2019/C 384 I/01, can participate in the admission competition under the same conditions provided by law for Romanian citizens, including regarding tuition fees.
  9. Candidates from EU third countries can apply for the places specially allocated by the faculty, in accordance with the university regulations.

6. The allocation procedure of the study places

The candidates will be ranked in descending order based on their mean score, strictly adhering to the formulated option order, starting with the first option. 12. Regulations for the admission examination in September 2024

  • If there are still tuition-free study places available August 1, 2024, and September 1, 2024, they will be filled by applicants who have been admitted to the tuition-paying study places in the same discipline, in descending order of the average, provided that they meet the eligibility requirements and have submitted their original baccalaureate diploma and original transcript of records by the date (to be announced later). If applicable, the faculty website will post the list of candidates who have changed their funding form on September 3, 2024. Applications can be submitted online in September 2024 (the date will be announced later). The allocation is in descending order of the average score, and the list of applicants admitted to the tuition-paying places will be published at a later date (the date will be announced soon). The confirmation of the place of study is made by paying the first rate of the tuition fee and filling out the study contract on the admission platform (the date will be announced soon). The list will be published after confirmation (the date will be announced soon).
  • If admission takes place in September 2024, all applicants who have reached an average score of at least 5 in July 2024 can apply for the admission session of September 2024 with the score achieved in July 2024.
