WELCOME:

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together experts and researchers in the theory and computation of fixed points, both for single-valued and multi-valued mappings. The participants from Balkan countries are invited to assess and propose new developments, ideas, and methods in this very popular and dynamic field. A special attention will be given to related fields, such as critical point theory, coincidence point theory, fractal generation and various applications of these type of operatorial equations and inclusions.

  • Participation in this conference will be done through personalized invitations
  • Each talk is of 40 minutes, including 5 minutes for Q&A
  • The Scientific Program starts on June 12, 2025, time: 9.00 and ends on June 13, 2025, time: 17.00
  • On June 14, 2025 a social and cultural program for the participants is planned
  • Abstract submission deadline: May 31, 2025 through our Registration Form link (to be sent to the invited participants)
  • Conference Venue: the Club of the Academic College, Emmanuel de Martonne Str., no. 1, Cluj-Napoca
  • The proceedings of the workshop will appear in the journal Fixed Point Theory, volume 27 (2026). The standard formal requirements of the journal apply for all the papers submitted for publication, please check and consult the journal webpage (https://www.math.ubbcluj.ro/~nodeacj/) Submitted papers must present original, non-published work of high quality
