(based on COPE's Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors)
Editors, reviewers and the publisher of Studia Universitas Babes-Bolyai Mathematica
try to maintain highest ethical standards in publishing all the research works.
However, authors should maintain certain standards and ethics
in their work. Plagiarism is one of the most unethical phenomena and is absolutely
unacceptable in any form. Authors submitting papers to Studia Universitas
Babes-Bolyai Mathematica should make sure that any part of their papers
is not plagiarized. Although we try our best not to publish any such paper yet
if after publication any paper is found plagiarized it will be retracted from the
issue of the journal by the recommendation of the editors of the journal.
By submitting a manuscript to Studia Universitas Babes-Bolyai University
Mathematica, authors confirm that the manuscript is their original work and
that it has neither been published previously nor is currently being considered
for publication elsewhere. They also make sure that the sources of any idea,
method and result in the manuscript that are not their own have been properly
attributed through appropriate citations.
An author should not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same
research in more than one journal. Submitting the same manuscript to more
than one journal constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable.
Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors
should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of
the reported work.
When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own
published work, it is his/her obligation to promptly notify the journal editor
in order to retract or correct the paper.
On all other aspects of the monitoring publications ethics and malpractice
the journal strictly adheres to international standards developed by:
